Most of my earlier years have been spent either training or competing in sports. In 1984 while training for the Mr. Central USA bodybuilding contest, I received a compression fracture in my middle back. After a month of pain medication and no permanent relief, I visited a chiropractic doctor on the recommendation of a good friend. The first relief I had in many weeks occurred on that first visit. In addition, headaches, allergies, and intermittent stomach pains, which I thought at the time were normal, also disappeared over the next few months as I continued care. My experience inspired me to change careers from being an engineer to a Doctor of Chiropractic.I graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Bloomington, MN, in 1990 and moved to Maui, Hawaii to start practice. Living on Maui for 16 years was a wonderful experience. Post-Graduate certifications in sports medicine and spinal trauma allowed me to help thousands of people, including many professional athletes.
During one of my post-graduate Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician seminars I met the smartest, most beautiful woman in the world and we got in 1997. We decided to move from Hawaii in 2004 to care for my wife’s mother, and in 2005 I started another practice here in Milpitas, California.
All these years later I still see a chiropractor 2-3 times a month. Most of the time not for any specific pain relief; but to optimize my health potential to keep me healthy and my immune system strong. I believe that being sick is no accident, nor is being healthy. In fact, I haven’t experienced any significant illness or sickness since 1993! Yes, the Chiropractic lifestyle is powerful and that's what I want for every practice member.
I thank you in advance for considering our office. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can help you get the results you want.
